Kicking Out 04:28
Ok! I’m impressed Meet you in a couple minutes outback The crowd leapt to its feet and the house doors Flung wide open The will The way If you leave then ill probably stay Sometimes its hard to say no To the things you really want There ain’t no love left in this house If your dropping in then I’m kicking out There ain’t no room left on my couch If your getting up then I’m stretching out Look out In coming Frequencies of radio humming I’m all set to play Bennie and the Jets On a whim at the piano Its time You left Taking back all the minutes I’ve spent Keep saying I’m sorry but anyway Thats ok with me There ain’t no love left in this house If your dropping in then I’m kicking out There ain’t no room left on my couch If your getting up then I’m stretching out

Deep Moat 03:16
I think of you nightly, ever so slightly Cause if I thought of you daily, it’d probably derail me When I call your number on my landline telephone I hang up immediately when you pick up and “Hello?” I think of you weekly, because you’re like sweet tea If I thought of you monthly it could be the death of me When I call your number on my cellular telephone I hang up immediately when you pick up and say “Pronto?” You’re a dreamboat living in a deep moat You’re an earthquake waiting for your big break Just stop Living in a deep moat I think of you yearly, but not so clearly A thought of you every decade? Maybe something more frequently When I call your number on my pre-paid calling card I hang up immediately when you pick up to say, “Hola, como estas?” You’re a dreamboat living in a deep moat You’re an earthquake waiting for your big break Just stop Living in a deep moat Living in a deep moat Living in a deep moat

Astronauts 02:46
Get your license Take a ride Easy access To the sky Looking up from a parking lot Looking up to the astronauts Sixty miles Round trip Speeding rocket Ready to rip Looking up for a brighter spot Looking up to the astronauts All I want is to land on Mars After that build a condo on a star Looking up cause its all I got Looking up to the astronauts Started off without a sound Sonic Boom! Look at me now What will they do when there’s no one else around? Looking up for a brighter spot Looking up to the astronauts

Dang Cold 03:16
Summertime and I’m feeling real fine with my dime piece Got some raw beats and a vest made of soft fleece It’s lint Glasses with tint Switching from Verizon to a pager with Sprint Sandwich made of ham and swiss Baked warm in the sun then I stick it in the fridge When its hot I make ice tea And would share a cup with you just say thanks and please Thanks Thanks and please Sniffs… “Gross” Reach down low bring the soap to your toes In the future we can all get bold But for now Its dang cold My parents drive around with their top rolled down Got their trunk vibrating with a beautiful sound Or song Come on sing along Verse chorus verse chorus All day long Do the twist side to side with ease One arm at a time through both of your sleeves We can hang after I rake these leaves If you could help me out I’d say thanks and please Thanks Thanks and please Cha ching! “Sold” Speeding lamborghinis up and down the east coast In the future we can all get bold But for now Its dang cold

This world’s completely twisted up And I will not celebrate your death Elevator music finally takes over After so many years of neglect Hay in a bail Found it on sale I drove into the sunset After fueling up at the rest stop Windows down a lot The waves… at night They whisper salty to me The waves… at night They whisper salty to me I hate surfing I hate everything It doesn’t feel like long ago Our mothers dressed us for the snow Mountains as teeth chew right thru the meat That is vibrating all around your feet Old lover Heart flutters You can catch me relaxing in a belt On the couch in the yard This life is hard The waves… at night They whisper salty to me The waves… at night They whisper salty to me I hate surfing I hate everything

I could go with you If that is what you want to do Here's a note to read She wants to dance if you’ll agree I should make a move See if this lady will approve If you want to groove Then this is what I’ll plan to do This is your last chance To drop everything And head to the dance floor Show us your moves Lose control And shake what they gave you Pull me out to sea Using whatever you need Eyes fixed gaze so cold Like walking barefoot in the snow Dip move Point and shoot We made the front page of the news If you want to groove Then this is what I’ll plan to do This is your last chance To drop everything And head to the dance floor Show us your moves Lose control And shake what they gave you Shake what they gave you

Architects 04:53
The pattern begins Held together by string Stomach in knots Hands in my pockets Another mountain to climb Shoes at the head of the trail Covered in vines Starting to bail On and on and on Fertilize the dead spots in your lawn Walking on a path Build by architects talented at math As honest as I can be Never find any tricks up my sleeves I’ll pick all the fleas Off your back like an animal Surrounded by strangers I know Some of them not half bad I’m feeling good And your a clusterfuck of sad On and on and on Fertilize the dead spots in your lawn Walking on a path Build by architects talented at math I hear you say To seize the day To take a moment To wait for a second I”ll take deep breaths And exhale slow In through my mouth And out through my nose On and on and on

Sticks and stones Might break my bones But names will never hurt me Stones and sticks Aim them at the pricks That are ruining your life When I get to heaven someday Will my old dogs coming running towards the gate Will a wise man or woman tell me how I’ve gone astray Until then everything is gray When I get to heaven someday Will my old dogs coming running towards the gate Will a wise man or woman tell me how I’ve gone astray Until then everything is gray Sticks and stones Might break my bones But names will never hurt me

about

“More Thrills, Less Hills” is eight songs that play like a mixtape, from upbeat indie rock, to breezy indie rock, to hip hop influenced indie rock to alt country, this LP has all of the indie rocks and one country song.

“More Thrills, Less Hills” features contributions from Emily Bornemann, Richie Brown, Chris Colon, Michael Depko, Pamela Flores, Ryan Gregg, Rachel Hock, Mike Noordsy, Lou Panico, Nicole Scorsone, El Valerie and Gary Zampini. They all did something great on the record. You have to listen to find out what.

It feels good to have finally finished these songs, so now we can move on to other things.
