What are dreams and where do they come from? We may not fully understand why our subconscious produces these images for us on a nightly basis, but at least sometimes they provide us with content to use for songwriting, hence Mike Chick’s latest double single, “Call Up The Doctor” / “Sleepwalking”.

Hot off the heels of Chick’s July 2020 release “Beach Wolff” and 2019’s “More Sh*t To End Up In A Landfill II”, “Call Up The Doctor” / “Sleep Walking” was home recorded onto four track cassette using drum machines, acetone organ and hollowbody fuzz bass, Chick (also of Yawn Mower) stitches together stories of various dreams that had him hoping the alarm clock would soon sound. The results will make you want to both dance and pull the covers over your head. All releases mentioned are on Mint 400 Records.

Additional recording was handled by William Bourke and mixing completed by Patrick Noon at eightsixteen studios. Mastering was mastered by Azimuth Mastering. The artwork was created by Richie Brown.
